Pickwick specializes in sheet metal fabrication, structural steel fabrication and sheet metal assembly for our customer's production lines. We are equipped with lasers, turret punches, tube benders, CNC brake presses to 1250 tons, machining, and AWS - qualified welding. We can also provide either wet or powder painting before assembly.
While much of our output is JIT or Kanban production of individual parts, Pickwick's 30 - 45 ton cranes, 50 ft. ceiling height and 80 ft. wide bays can accommodate large metal component manufacturing as well. Our heaviest weldment to date has been a mobile rock crusher weighing 140,000 lbs.

Pickwick's whole goods sheet metal assembly services range from provision of individual sheet metal fabrications as parts kits to complete electro-hydraulic assembly and electro-mechanical assembly of turnkey components for customer installation. Our manufacturing engineers start by identifying your requirements, and tailor our whole goods services to best respond.
Cedarapids Inc. has Pickwick group all of the fabrications to build each Screening Plant, and deliver them in customized kits to meet their sales orders requirements. Alstom has chosen Kanban service, with of the raceways for one car in a returnable container that is stationed at the assembly point.
Among the whole goods items we currently assemble are straw spreaders for CNH Global (J.I. Case and New Holland) and Millennium Bag Houses for American Air Filter. The spreaders are shipped in returnable containers for installation on the AFX Combine line while the Millennium units are shipped directly to the customer's site for field installation. Other whole goods in which we have experience include truck-mounted screening and rock crushing plants, food processing equipment, vacuum furnace plenums, and service truck bodies.
